The number of days to sell a home and  home sales were both down in March 2017 as compared to the same month last year in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B, which includes the neighbourhoods of Norwood, Norwood Flats and St. Boniface.

There were 13 homes sold in the above neighbourhoods in March 2017 as compared to 16 sold in the same month last year. It took less time to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B in March 2017. Average days on market in March 2017 was 14.50, significantly down from the 25 days required to sell a home in March 2016.

On a brighter note, the average home sale prices were up in Norwood, Norwood Flats and St. Boniface for March 2017, coming in at $294,272 as compared to $247,056 in the same month last year. Listings on the Winnipeg MLS market in 2A and 2B were up in March 2017 from the 7 homes available in 2016.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B in March 2017 was $510,000 for a home on Monck Avenue, while the lowest price came in at $180,000 for a home on Eugenie Street.
