Fewer Days to Sell a Home in Cresentwood

Home sales in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Crescentwood, Fort Rouge, Fort Rouge West, Lord Roberts, Osborne Village and Riverview were up in May 2017 as compared to May 2016, and the number of days required to sell a home in these neighbourhoods decreased during the same period.

It took an average of 12.25 days to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 1A, 1Aw, 1B and 1Bw in May 2016. That number decreased to 9.5 days in May 2017. Home sales rose from 27 in May 2016 to 39 in May 2017.

Total active listings in Corydon, Crescentwood, Fort Rouge, Fort Rouge West, Lord Roberts and Osborne Village were down in May 2017 to 28, compared to 32 in May 2016. Average home selling prices in these neighbourhoods decreased from $268,083 in 2016 to $267,637 in 2017 during this period.

The lowest home sale price for May 2017 came in at $130,000 for a home on Nassau Street while the highest price paid was for a home on Bartlet Avenue that changed hands for $420,800.
