Listings and sales down, sale prices up in Garden Grove

MLS listings and sales went down while sale prices went up in the month of April 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area Garden Grove.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 19.6% with the average being $375,000 compared to $301,250 in April 2017. On average a residence took 26 days less to sell compared to the average of 40 days in April 2017.

There were 4 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 4K at the end of April 2018 as compared to 6 at the end of April 2017, and 2 homes sold in April 2018 as compared to 4 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio decreased from 67 percent in April 2017 to 50 percent in April 2018.

The highest price paid in April 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of Garden Grove was $398,000 for a home on Cutler Bay. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Alwood Crescent, which closed at $302,500.
