Listings and sale prices up, sales down in St. Vital, Winnipeg

MLS listings and sale prices went up while sales went down in the month of February 2020 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of St. Vital.

The average selling price of homes went down approximately 8% with the average being $287,688 compared to $263,654 in February 2019. On average a residence took 3 days less to sell in February 2020 as compared to 26 days in February 2019.

There were 27 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2D at the end of February 2020 as compared to 13 at the end of February 2019, and 8 homes sold in February 2020  as compared to 13 in February 2019. The sales-to-listing ratio was 30% in February 2020 compared to 100% in February 2019.

The highest price paid in February 2020 for a home in the neighbourhood of St. Vital was $360,000 for a home on St. Andrew Road. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on St. David Place, which closed at $208,500.
