Listings and sale prices down, sales up in Bonavista, Winnipeg

MLS listings and sale prices went down while sales went up in the month of March 2020 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Bonavista.

The average selling price of homes went down approximately 0.6% with the average being $400,425 compared to $402,891 in March 2019. On average a residence took 3 days less to sell in March 2020 as compared to 20 days in March 2019.

There were 55 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2J at the end of March 2020 as compared to 62 at the end of March 2019, and 20 homes sold in March 2020  as compared to 17 in March 2019. The sales-to-listing ratio was 36% in March 2020 compared to 27% in March 2019.

The highest price paid in March 2020 for a home in the neighbourhood of Bonavista was $570,000 for a home on Lardon Court. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on De La Seigneurie Boulevard, which closed at $349,900.
