Listings and sale prices down, sales up in West End, Winnipeg

MLS listings and sale prices went down while sales went up in the month of November 2020 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of West End.

The average selling price of homes went down approximately 14% with the average being $170,833 compared to $198,780 in November 2019. On average a residence took 17 days less to sell in November 2020 as compared to 52 days in November 2019.

There were 22 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 5A at the end of November 2020 as compared to 47 at the end of November 2019, and 18 homes sold in November 2020 compared to 5 in November 2019. The sales-to-listing ratio was 82% in November 2020 compared to 11% in November 2019.

The highest price paid in November 2020 for a home in the neighbourhood of West End was $331,000 for a home on Toronto Street. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Alexander Avenue, which closed at $76,000.
