Listings and sale prices up, sales same in Niakwa Park

MLS listings and sale prices went up while sales stayed the same in the month of March 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area Niakwa Park.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 7.4% with the average being $310,930 compared to $287,780 in March 2017. On average a residence took 7 days more to sell compared to the average of 12 days in March 2017.

There were 11 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2G at the end of March 2018 as compared to 7 at the end of March 2017, and 10 homes sold in March 2018 as compared to 10 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio decreased from 143 percent in March 2017 to 91 percent in March 2018.

The highest price paid in March 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of Niakwa Park was $399,999 for a home on Francois Muller Place. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Agate Bay, which closed at $275,000.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 0.5% with the average being $395,814 compared to $393,823 in March 2017. On average a residence took 3 days more to sell compared to the average of 20 days in March 2017.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 2.3% with the average being $325,080 compared to $317,500 in March 2017. On average a residence took 45 days more to sell compared to the average of 7 days in March 2017.
