Year-end MLS listings were down in 2017 for the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of MLS areas Margaret Park, Scotia Heights, West Kildonan, Riverbend, River Dale, River Grove, Amber Trails, Garden City, Old Kildonan, and Parkway Village. Home sales were down in 2017 compared to 2016. The average selling price of homes went up approxiametely 1% with the average being $315,071 compared to $312,948 in 2016. On average a residence took approximately 6 days less to sell compared to the average of 29.5 days in 2016.

There were 694 active listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 4D,E,F and G at the end of December 2017 as compared to 734 at the end 2016, and 503 homes sold in 2017 as compared to 510 in 2016. The sales-to-listing ratio increased from 70.25 percent in 2016 to 74.5 percent in 2017.

The average home sale price increased slightly from $312,948 in 2016 to $315,071 in 2017 and it took less time to sell a home, with average days on the market dropping from 29.5 in 2016 to 23.5 in 2017.

The highest price paid in 2017 for a home in the neighbourhoods of Margaret Park, Scotia Heights, West Kildonan, Riverbend, River Dale, River Grove, Amber Trails, Garden City, Old Kildonan, and Parkway Village was $$650,000 for a home on McBeth Grove. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Kilbride Avenue, which closed at $90,000.
