Listings were down but average home sale prices were up for February 2017 in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Niakwa Park, Windsor Park, Niakwa Place, Southdale, Island Lakes, Royalwood, Ramblewood, Southland Park, Sage Creek and Waterside Estates, compared to the same month last year.

There were 104 active home listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 2G, 2H, 2J, 2K in February 2017 as compared to 109 listings in February 2016, and the average days required to sell a home dropped from 33.25 last February to 31.5 days in February 2017.

Home sales numbers increased from 43 to 49 in Niakwa Park, Windsor Park, Niakwa Place, Southdale, Island Lakes, Royalwood, Ramblewood, Southland Park, Sage Creek and Waterside Estates from February 2016 to February 2017, and the average home sale price rose from $377,947 to $383,453.

The highest price paid for a home in MLS areas 2G, 2H, 2J and 2K in February 2017 was $600,000 for a home on Seaside Drive. The lowest price paid was $177,943 for a home on Shady Shores Drive.
