There were 747 active listings at year’s end in 2017 in Winnipeg MLS areas 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D, compared to 737 listings at year’s end in 2016, and the average home sale price rose from $223,420 in 2016 to $227,642 in 2017.

There were 534 homes sold in the above neighbourhoods in 2017 compared to 563 homes sold in 2016. The average number of days required to sell a home increased from 22.75 in 2016 to 23.75 in 2017, and the sales-to-listing ratio decreased from 78 percent to 73 percent.

The highest price paid for a home in East Kildonan, Elmwood, East Elmwood, Morse Place, Elmwood Park, Fraser’s Grove and Glenelm in 2017 was $672,500 for a home on Kildonan Drive. The lowest price paid was $75,000 for a home on Martin Avenue West.
