Home sales and year-end listings were way up in 2016 for Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B, which includes the neighbourhoods of St. Boniface, Norwood and Norwood Flats, but the average home sale price was down slightly.

There were 170 homes sold in St. Boniface, Norwood and Norwood Flats in 2016 compared to 135 home sales in 2015 and there were 326 total active listings at the end of 2016 as compared to 183 listings at the end of 2015. The average number of days on the market remained the same from 2015 to 2016 at 20.5 days.

The average home sale price in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B was down from $263,259 in 2016 to $255,954 in 2015.

The lowest price paid for a home in these neighbourhoods in 2016 was $116,000 for a home on Dubuc Street and the highest price paid was $587,500 for a home on Gabrielle Roy Place.
