The average home sale price in these neighbourhoods, which includes homes sold in Winnipeg MLS Areas 2G, 2H, 2J and 2K, was $378,537.75 this year compared to $296,955.00 in the same month last year.

There were more active listings in these neighbourhoods in October 2016, with 88 homes listed compared to 76 in the same month last year, but sales were down from 41 to 36 on the year to year comparison. The average days required to sell a home was also down quite a bit from 42.25 in October 2015 compared to 30.5 in October 2016.

The sales topper among homes sold in October 2016 in the neighbourhoods of Windsor Park, Southdale, Island Lakes, Southland Park and Sage Creek went to a home on Bow Water Drive, which sold for $619,000. The lowest price paid in these neighbourhoods was $205,000 for a home on Barberry Road.
