Both the average home sale price and total home sales were up in January 2017 compared to the same month last year in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Assiniboine Woods, Charleswood, River West Park and Westdale, while total listings were down slightly.

There were 30 homes for sale in Winnipeg MLS areas 1F, 1G and 1H in January 2017 as compared to 32 in January 2016. Twelve homes were sold in the neighbourhoods of Assiniboine Woods, Charleswood, River West Park and Westdale in January 2017, four more than were sold in these neighbourhoods in January 2016. The average home sale price in these neighbourhoods rose substantially in January 2017, coming in at $499,739, compared to an average sale price of $360,908 in January 2016.

It took a little longer to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 1F, 1G and 1H in January 2017, with the average days on market coming in at 45.66. In January 2016 homes in these neighbourhoods were on the market for an average of 41 days.

The highest price paid for a home in Assiniboine Woods, Charleswood, River West Park and Westdale in January 2017 was $710,000 for a home on Williams Marshall Way. The lowest home sale price in these neighbourhoods in January 2017 belonged to a home on Wexford Street which sold for $185,000.
