Home sales and average home prices were up substantially in Winnipeg MLS areas 1M, 1N and 1P in 2016 when compared to 2015.

There were 300 homes sales in the neighbourhoods of Linden Ridge, Linden Woods, Charleswood, South Charleswood, Fort Whyte and Whyte Ridge in 2016 compared to only 193 home sales in these neighbourhoods in 2015.

The average home sale price in Winnipeg MLS areas 1M, 1N and 1P was up from $475,547 in 2015 to $725,782 in 2016 and the average days required to sell a home in these neighbourhoods was down from 34.3 days in 2015 to 21 days in 2016. There was obviously some good demand for homes in these neighbourhoods.

The lowest price paid for a home in Linden Ridge, Linden Woods, Charleswood, South Charleswood, Fort Whyte and Whyte Ridge in 2016 was $370,000 for a home on Castlebury Court. The highest price paid was for a home on Loudon Road, which closed at $2 million.
