Home sales and listings were down in Armstrong’s Point, Crescentwood, River Heights North, Middle and South and Tuxedo in January 2017 when compared to January 2016, but the average home sale price was up.

There were 10 homes sold in Winnipeg MLS 1C, 1D and 1E in January 2017, only two less than in the same month in 2016, but active listings were down from 34 in January 2016 to 22 in January 2017. The average days required to sell a home was also down from 45 days in January 2016 to 22 days in January 2017.

The average home sale price in Armstrong’s Point, Crescentwood, River Heights North, Middle and South and Tuxedo in January 2017 was $770,370, which was quite an increase compared to the January 2016 average home sale price in these neighbourhoods of $508,420.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 1C, 1D and 1E in January 2017 was $2,460,000 for a home on Handsart Boulevard. The lowest price paid for a home in these neighbourhoods was $199,900 for a home on Beaverbrook Street.
