MLS listings and sales went down while sale prices went up in the month of December 2020 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Island Lakes.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 15% with the average being $489,086 compared to $416,616 in December 2019. On average a residence took 17 days more to sell in December 2020 as compared to 23 days in December 2019.

There were 10 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2J at the end of December 2020 as compared to 31 at the end of December 2019, and 10 homes sold in December 2020 compared to 11 in December 2019. The sales-to-listing ratio was 100% in December 2020 compared to 35% in December 2019.

The highest price paid in December 2020 for a home in the neighbourhood of Island Lakes was $690,000 for a home on Bonaventure. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Evelyne Reese Boulevard, which closed at $360,100.
