Listings were down but average home sale prices were up for February 2017 in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of St. Vital, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Norberry, Pulberry, River Pointe, Van Hull Estates, Meadowood, River Park South, Dakota Crossing and Southglen, compared to the same month last year.

There were 58 active home listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F in February 2017 as compared to 77 listings in February 2016, and the average days required to sell a home dropped from 25.75 last February to 14.5 days in February 2016.

Home sales numbers also dropped from 41 to 40 in St. Vital, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Norberry, Pulberry, River Pointe, Van Hull Estates, Meadowood, River Park South, Dakota Crossing and Southglen from February 2016 to February 2017, but the average home sale price rose from $310,278 to $352,624.

The highest price paid for a home in MLS areas 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F in February 2017 was $925,000 for a home on Riverhaven Grove. The lowest price paid was $150,000 for a home on Berrydale Avenue.
