Listings were up in August 2017 but  average home sale prices were down in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert,  and Waverly West, compared to the same month last year.

There were 105 active home listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in August 2017 as compared to 91 listings during the same period last year, and the average days required to sell a home dropped from 34.00 last August to 25.67 days in August 2017.

Home sales numbers increased  from 52 in August 2016 to 54 in 2017 in Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert, and Waverly West , and the average home sale price declined from $428,273 to $419,546.

The highest price paid for a home in MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in August 2017 was $1,307,000 for a home on Rose Lake Court . The lowest price paid was $275,000 for a home on Lamirande Place.
