The average selling price for homes in Winnipeg MLS areas 1C, 1D and 1E, which includes the neighbourhoods of  River Heights, River Heights South and Tuxedo, was up 11 percent to $502,447 in October 2016, when compared to the average selling price of $449,635 in October 2015. Active listings were down more than 50 percent in October 2016 when compared to the same month in 2015, while the number of homes sold in these areas remained relatively constant with 30 sold in October 2016 as compared to 32 sold in October 2015. On average it took 19 days to sell a home in these neighbourhoods in October 2016 as compared to 20 days in October 2015.
