Home sales and average home sale prices were up and listings were down by the end of 2016 in Winnipeg MLS areas 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F, which includes the neighbouhoods of St. Vital, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Norberry, Pulberry, River Pointe, Van Hull Estates, Meadowood, River Park South, Dakota Crossing and Southglen.

There were 734 homes sold in Winnipeg MLS areas 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F in 2016 as compared to 708 home sold in 2015 and there were 910 active listings in these areas at the end of 2016 as compared to 1,043 listings at the end of 2015.

The average home sale price in St. Vital, Bright Oaks, Elm Park, Norberry, Pulberry, River Pointe, Van Hull Estates, Meadowood, River Park South, Dakota Crossing and Southglen increased from $314,365 in 2015 to $324,241 in 2016, and the average days required to sell a home dropped from 22.75 in 2015 to 20.75 in 2016.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F in 2016 was $1,650,000 for a home on River Road. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Berrydale Avenue that closed at $100,000.
