The average home price in 2016 was up in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Margaret Park, Scotia Heights, West Kildonan, Riverbend, Riverdale, River Grove, Amber Trails, Garden City, Old Kildonan and Parkway Village, but year-end listings and total home sales were down.

The average home sale price in the above neighbourhoods, which are included in Winnipeg MLS areas 4D, 4E, 4F, 4G, was $312,948 in 2016, as compared to $307,554 in 2015. There were 510 homes sold in these neighbourhoods in 2016, two less than in 2015, when 512 homes were sold. Year-end listings were actually down quite a bit, coming in at 734 in 2016 as compared to 849 in 2015.

The average days required to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 4D, 4E, 4F, 4G in 2016 was 29.5 days, down slightly from 30.5 days in 2015.

The highest price paid for a home in 2016 in the neighbourhoods of Margaret Park, Scotia Heights, West Kildonan, Riverbend, Riverdale, River Grove, Amber Trails, Garden City, Old Kildonan and Parkway Village was $514,955, for a home on Angela Everts Drive. The lowest price paid for a home in these neighbourhoods in 2016 was $104,900 for a home on Madeline Street.
