Listings down, sales and sale prices up in St. Boniface, Winnipeg

MLS listings went down while sales and prices went up in the month of October 2022 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Bright Oaks.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately HELP with the average being $450,117 compared to $385,514 in October 2021. On average a residence took 22 days more to sell in October 2022 as compared to 17 days in October 2021.

There were 4 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2A at the end of April 2021 as compared to 10 at the end of April 2020, and 9 homes sold in April 2021 compared to 1 in April 2020. The sales-to-listing ratio was 225% in April 2021 compared to 10% in April 2020.

The highest price paid in April 2021 for a home in the neighbourhood of St. Boniface was $750,000 for a home on Georges Forest Place. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Notre Dame Street, which closed at $280,000.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 11% with the average being $291,729 compared to $259,514 in September 2019. On average a residence took 3 days more to sell in September 2020 as compared to 8 days as well in September 2019.
