You can’t change history, but… you can own a slice of it.
The historic Princeton home built by the Revered John Witherspoon in 1771 is available for purchase – now reduced to a paltry $6,475,000.
Who was John Witherspoon? He was a leading American patriot, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and the 6th President of Princeton University.
We expect that the house and the outbuildings have changed more than a little as a result of restorations and modernization, but if you’re tuned in to voices from the past, you just might hear echoes of Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, Benjamin Franklin and other signers of the Declaration debating the state of affairs, and planning for America’s independence.
The Witherspoon home is believed to be Princeton’s most historic private estate still to be held privately. To visit Zillow and learn more about it, click here.
