MLS listings, sales and average home sale prices were all down in 2017 for the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of St. Boniface, Norwood and Norwood Flats, and the average days required to sell a home was up over 100 percent.

There were 199 active listings at the end of 2017 in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B compared to 326 year-end listings in 2016 and only 147 homes were sold in 2017 compared to 326 homes sold in these MLS areas in 2016. The average home sale price also dropped from $255,954 in 2016 to $242,147 in 2017.

The average days required to sell a home in St. Boniface, Norwood and Norwood Flats increased substantially from 20.5 days in 2016 to 41 days in 2017.
