The average selling price for homes in Winnipeg MLS areas 1J, 1JW, 1K, 1L, 1Q, 1R, 1S, which includes the neighbourhoods of Fort Garry, Fort Richmond, Waverley Heights, Richmond West, St. Norbert and Waverley West, was down slightly from from $346,809 in October 2015 to $343,240 in October 2016.

Active listings were up 54 percent with 124 homes listed for sale in October 2016 as compared to 57 in October 2015, but home sales in these neighbourhoods were only up 23 percent with 56 homes sold in October 2015 as compared to 43 sold in October 2015. Homes were selling quicker in these neighbourhoods in 2016 however, with the average number of days required to sell a home in 2016 set at 20 compared to 24 days in 2015. Selling prices ranged from $184,900 for a home on Royse Avenue to $990,000 for a home on Autumnview Drive.
