Listings and sale prices up, sales down in East Kildonan

MLS listings and sale prices went up while sales went down in the month of April 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area East Kildonan.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 3.6% with the average being $319,786 compared to $308,183 in April 2017. On average a residence took 9 days more to sell compared to the average of 23 days in April 2017.

There were 14 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 3C at the end of April 2018 as compared to 12 at the end of April 2017, and 7 homes sold in April 2018 as compared to 10 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio decreased from 83 percent in April 2017 to 50 percent in April 2018.

The highest price paid in April 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of East Kildonan was $490,000 for a home on Claus Bay. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Hart Avenue, which closed at $215,500.
