Listings, sales and sale prices up in East Elmwood

MLS listings, sales and sale prices went up in the month of April 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area East Elmwood.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 15.1% with the average being $240,360 compared to $203,938 in April 2017. On average a residence took 32 days less to sell compared to the average of 48 days in April 2017.

There were 28 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 3B at the end of April 2018 as compared to 25 at the end of April 2017, and 20 homes sold in April 2018 as compared to 12 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio increased from 48 percent in April 2017 to 71 percent in April 2018.

The highest price paid in April 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of East Elmwood was $282,000 for a home on McCalman Avenue. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Riverton Avenue, which closed at $55,000.
