Home Sales Steady in Fort Richmond

The average home sale price was up in March 2017 in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Fort Garry, Fort Richmond, University Heights, Waverly Heights and Wildwood as compared to March 2016, and the number of homes listed on MLS in these neighbourhoods increased as well.

It took an average of 13.25 days to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 1J, 1Jw 1K  and 1L which remained steady compared to March 2016 at 13.25 days. The average home sale price increased from $317,860 in February 2016 to $318,833 in March 2017.

Total active listings in Fort Garry, Fort Richmond, University Heights, Waverly Heights and Wildwood were up in March 2017 to 18, compared to 14 in March 2016. Total sales in these neighbourhoods held steady around 22 homes during this period.

The lowest home sale price for March 2017 came in at $162,000 for a home on Plaza Drive while the highest price paid was for a home on that changed hands for $470,000 on Rochester Avenue.
