Bridgwater Home Selling Prices on the Climb

Listings were down but average home sale prices were up for March 2017 in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert,  and Waverly West, compared to the same month last year.

There were 110 active home listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in March  2017 as compared to 121 listings in March  2016, and the average days required to sell a home dropped from 43.67 last March  to 17.67 days in March  2017.

Home sales numbers decreased from 45 to 37 in Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert, and Waverly West from March  2016 to March  2017, and the average home sale price rose from $409,115 to $433,365.

The highest price paid for a home in MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in in March  2017 was $1,300,000 for a home on Montpelier Point. The lowest price paid was $175,000 for a home on La Maire Street.
