The number of days to sell a home was up and home sales was up in August 2017 as compared to the same month last year in Winnipeg MLS areas 2G,2H,2J and 2K, which includes the neighbourhoods of Island Lakes, Sage Creek, Southdale, Southland Park, Windsor Park.

There were 59 homes sold in the above neighbourhoods in August 2017 as compared to 51 sold in the same month last year. It took slightly more time to sell a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2G, 2H, 2J and 2K in August 2017. Average days on market in August 2017 was 24.5, up from the 22.00 days required to sell a home in August 2016.

The average home sale prices were up slightly in Island Lakes, Sage Creek, Southdale, Southland Park, and Windsor Park for August 2017, coming in at $417,853 as compared to $397,633 in the same month last year. Listings on the Winnipeg MLS market in 2G, 2H, 2J and 2K were down in August 2017 from the 104 homes available in 2016 coming in at 83 this year.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B in August 2017 was $625,000 for a home on Red Lily Drive, while the lowest price came in at $227,000 for a home on Elizabeth Road .
