Listings same, sales down, sale prices up in Brooklands, Winnipeg

MLS listings stayed the sale, sales went down and sale prices went up in the month of November 2018 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Brooklands.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 8% with the average being $194,083 compared to $178,450 in November 2017. On average a residence took 6 days more to sell in November 2018 as compared to 22 days in November 2017.

There were 27 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 5D at the end of November 2018 as compared to 9 at the end of November 2017, and 9 homes sold in November 2018 as compared to 12 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio was 33% in November 2018 compared to 44% in November 2017.

The highest price paid in November 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of Brooklands was $323,000 for a home on Midmar Avenue. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Bannatyne Avenue, which closed at $82,000.
