Norwood MLS Sales Increase in August

New listings on the Winnipeg MLS market declined slighly during August 2017 in Norwood, Norwood Flats and St. Boniface when compared to August  2016. Home sales in these areas during this same period increased in the above areas.

There were 13 homes sold in Winnipeg MLS 2A and 2B in August  2017 compared to 10 in the same month in 2016. Active listings declined with 21  new listings in August  2017 compared to 23 in August 2016. The average days required to sell a home was increased with 24.5 days in August  2017 to sell a home compared to 19.5 days in 2016. The average sale price of a home changing hands in Norwood, Norwood Flast and St. Boniface was  down from $254,223 in August  2016 to $239,462 in August  2017.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 2A and 2B in August  2017 was $441,000 for a home on Claremont Avenue, while the lowest price came in at $160,000 for a home on Thomas Berry Street.
