Progressive April in River Heights

Home sales and selling were up in Armstrong’s Point, Crescentwood, River Heights North, Middle and South and Tuxedo in April 2017 when compared to April 2016 despite active MLS listings being down.

There were 35 homes sold in Winnipeg MLS 1C, 1D and 1E in April 2017 compared to 33 in the same month in 2016. Active listings were down from 48 in March 2016 to 37 in March 2017. The average days required to sell a home was also down from 18 days in March 2016 to 16.34 days in March 2017.

The average home sale price in Armstrong’s Point, Crescentwood, River Heights North, Middle and South and Tuxedo in March 2017 was $804,220, which was quite an increase compared to the March 2016 average home sale price in these neighbourhoods of $554,213.

The highest price paid for a home in Winnipeg MLS areas 1C, 1D and 1E in March 2017 was $1,365,000 for a home on Dumfries Place. The lowest price paid for a home in these neighbourhoods was $220,000 for a home on Lanark Street.
