Listings and sale prices up, sales down in Southdale

MLS listings and sale prices went up while sales went down in the month of July 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area Southdale.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 15% with the average being $476,254 compared to $404,433 in July 2017. On average a residence took 15 days more to sell in July 2018 compared to the average of 29 days in July 2017.

There were 17 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 2H at the end of July 2018 as compared to 13 at the end of July 2017, and 9 homes sold in July 2018 as compared to 12 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio was 53% in July 2018 compared to 92% in July 2017.

The highest price paid in July 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of Southdale was $743,650 for a home on Niakwa Road. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Cherwell, which closed at $260,140.
