Home sales, listings and average home sale prices up in St. Norbert, Bridgwater and Waverly West

Home sales, listings and average home sale prices were up in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, St. Norbert, Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Waverley West, Richmond West, South Pointe and Fairfield Park in 2017, while the average number of a days required to sell a home was down.

Ther were 778 active listings at the end of 2017 in Winnipeg MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S as compared to 764 active listings in 2016 and 491 homes were sold in 2017, 10 more than in 2016 in these areas. The average home sale price also rose from $410,104 in 2016 to $420,238 in 2017.

The average number of days required to sell a home in Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, St. Norbert, Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Waverley West, Richmond West, South Pointe and Fairfield Park was 25.33 in 2017 as compared to 29.33 in 2016, while the sales to listing ratio remained constant at 72%.

The highest priced paid for a home in MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in 2017 was $1,385,000 for a home on Willow Brook Road. The lowest price paid was $343,750 for a home on Gervais Place.
