Listings were down but average home sale prices were up for May 2017 in the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert,  and Waverly West, compared to the same month last year.

There were 110 active home listings in Winnipeg MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in May 2017 as compared to 130 listings during the same period last year, and the average days required to sell a home rose slightly  from 18.66 last May to 20.67 days in May 2017.

Home sales numbers increased substantially from 51 in May 2016 to 76 in 2017 in Bridgwater Center, Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Lakes, Bridgwater Trails, Fairfield Park, Grandmont Park, Richmond Lakes, South Pointe, St. Norbert, and Waverly West , and the average home sale price rose from $414,041 to $417,155.

The highest price paid for a home in MLS areas 1Q, 1R and 1S in  May 2017 was $1,260,096 for a home on Willow Brook Road . The lowest price paid was $262,000 for a home on Grandmont Blvd.
