Listings, sales and sale prices down in West End, Winnipeg

MLS listings, sales and sale prices went down in the month of June 2020 in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of West End.

The average selling price of homes went up approximately 4.4% with the average being $185,764 compared to $194,346 in June 2019. On average a residence took 4 days less to sell in June 2020 as compared to 27 days in June 2019.

There were 38 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 5A at the end of June 2020 as compared to 47 at the end of June 2019, and 11 homes sold in June 2020 compared to 12 in June 2019. The sales-to-listing ratio was 29% in June 2020 compared to 26% in June 2019.

The highest price paid in June 2020 for a home in the neighbourhood of West End was $350,000 for a home on Furby Street. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Alexander Avenue, which closed at $63,500.
