Listings and sale prices down, sales same in East Fort Garry

MLS listings and sale prices went down while sales stayed the same in the month of May 2018 for the Winnipeg neighbourhood of MLS area West Fort Garry.

The average selling price of homes went down approximately 22.1% with the average being $363,250 compared to $466,451 in May 2017. On average a residence took 20 days more to sell in May 2018 as compared to the average of 7 days in May 2017.

There were 9 active listings in Winnipeg MLS area 1J at the end of May 2018 as compared to 10 at the end of May 2017, and 6 homes sold in May 2018 as compared to 6 in 2017. The sales-to-listing ratio increased from 60% in May 2017 to 67% in May 2018.

The highest price paid in May 2018 for a home in the neighbourhood of West Fort Garry was $520,000 for a home on Riverside Drive. The lowest sale price belonged to a home on Lyon Street, which closed at $220,000.
